What's inside
Plagron Hydro A & B is a two-component, highly concentrated mineral base nutrient for hydro systems and inert substrates, from veg through bloom. Hydro A is NPK 3-0-1 with 5.9% CaO and 0.4% MgO; the calcium helps plants cope with heat stress. Hydro B is NPK 1-3-6 with 1.4% MgO for chlorophyll production. Chelated trace elements are absorbed quickly. You get both parts in the same size.
How far 1 L goes
Add max. 2.5 ml Hydro A per litre (1:400), mix, then the same amount of Hydro B. Never let A and B meet undiluted, set the pH to 5.5–6.5 and follow the 100% HYDRO feeding schedule for EC. At the maximum dose, 1 L of each part mixes about 400 L of nutrient solution. A 40 L reservoir takes up to 100 ml of A and 100 ml of B, so the set covers around ten fresh tanks.
In a small system
Keep two separate syringes or cups, marked A and B. Keep the solution circulating, don't add organic products, and use it within four days, so in a small reservoir it's often simplest to change it twice a week.
