Plagron Hydro Roots 1 L – mineral root stimulator for hydro set-ups
If you grow hydro in more than one tent, or run cycle after cycle on a larger reservoir, the litre bottle is the sensible step up. It costs well under half as much per litre as the 250 ml bottle.
Yield of one litre
At the 1:1,000 dose, 1 L becomes about 1,000 L of nutrient solution. With a 100 L tank that's 100 ml per fresh fill, so ten full changes.
Why hydro growers use it
Hydro Roots is a purely mineral root stimulator, NPK 0-20-0 with 0.02% boron. Phosphorus and boron drive root initiation, more secondary roots and thicker root hairs, so the plant can take up more water and nutrients. With no organic ingredients it won't clog drippers or pumps, and it combines with Plagron Hydro A & B, Green Sensation and Power Buds.
Good to know
Hydro Roots works best in recirculating systems, where every pass through the root zone counts. Add it with every new mix from the start of the grow until week three or four of flower. Measure out with a 50 ml measuring cup rather than by eye, keep the pH at 5.5–6.5, and stop dosing after mid-flower. Store the bottle closed and frost-free.
