Plagron Lemon Kick 1 L – citric acid pH regulator for organic soil grows
The litre is the popular all-round size for a home grow or a small grow room: enough for a good while of daily mixing without a big can in the way. Plagron Lemon Kick is a natural pH down based on citric acid that brings nutrient water to the ideal 5.5–6.5 range, the window where plants take up nutrients in the correct proportions.
What makes it different
Most pH down products are mineral acids. Lemon Kick is just water and citric acid, which makes it a natural fit for organic grows on soil. It has no effect on EC, doesn't change the NPK value of your feed and doesn't harm the micro-organisms in the soil. Plagron says it's up to three times as effective as other pH regulators.
In practice
Mixing a 20 or 50 litre reservoir? Get the nutrients in first and let them dissolve. Then add Lemon Kick a few drops or millilitres at a time, stir well and wait a moment before measuring, so the reading settles. Repeat until your meter shows 5.5–6.5. Because water quality and feed differ so much, always measure rather than following a fixed dose. A small dropper bottle filled from the litre makes fine adjustment easier.
