Product description
Plagron Mega Worm 25 L – worm castings in bulk for grow rooms, garden beds and big soil batches
When you mix soil by the wheelbarrow, small bags don't cut it. The 25 L pack of Plagron Mega Worm is the economical choice for larger grow rooms, garden beds or big batches of soil. It's 100% worm castings from Dendrobaena veneta worms, made from plant remains composted by worms, with a very high organic content.
Why growers use it
Next to organic matter, Mega Worm brings trace elements, enzymes, minerals and mycorrhizae into your soil. That stimulates soil life and creates a balanced environment around the roots, supporting germination, rooting and growth. It fits organic cultivation and works as the living base of a self-mixed soil.
Yield of 25 litres
At the recommended 10–20% by volume (100–200 L per 1,000 L of potting soil), 25 L improves 125 to 250 litres of soil: about 11 to 22 pots of 11 litres, or 5 to 10 pots of 25 litres. Outdoors, at 1 litre per 3–5 m², it covers roughly 75 to 125 m².
Mixing a big batch
Spread the soil on a tarp or in a mixing tub, add the Mega Worm in layers and turn the pile until the colour is even. Store any leftover pack closed and slightly moist, out of the sun, so the soil life stays active. Mega Worm contains little directly available food and is not a liquid feed; for a complete organic mix, combine it with Supermix, Bat Guano or Calcium Kick.
