Plagron Royalmix 25 L – heavily pre-fertilised organic soil for a few pots
Want to grow organically in a small tent with as little bottle feeding as possible? A 25 L bag of Plagron Royalmix fills about two 11 L pots and is light enough to carry home without a car.
What's inside
Royalmix is Plagron's premium, ready-to-use pre-fertilised organic substrate for potting and repotting flowering plants. It combines peat, a high share of perlite, worm castings, organic fertilisers and fibres. The pre-fertilisation of 10.5 kg/m³ organic fertiliser (NPK 5.5-11-5.5) is time-released and feeds your plants for roughly the first six weeks. The perlite gives excellent drainage and lowers the risk of overwatering, and it is suitable for organic cultivation.
Careful with young plants
All that food makes Royalmix too strong for very young plants (EC 1.3–2.0 mS/cm, pH 6.0–7.2). Either let seedlings grow on for 1 to 2 weeks first, or flush the soil before planting, for example a 10 L pot with 5 to 10 L of water.
Feeding later on
Organic nutrients take about two weeks to become available. Plagron advises starting with Alga Grow and Alga Bloom from around week 4, and extra nutrition is usually needed after about six weeks. In the 100% NATURAL line you do not need to adjust pH or EC.
