Plagron Royalmix 50 L – premium organic soil for full tents and organic grow rooms
For a whole tent of organic plants, or several tents at once, the 50 L bag of Plagron Royalmix is the economical choice. It fills about four 11 L pots or two to three 18 L pots, at a clearly lower price per litre than the 25 L bag.
Why growers use it
Royalmix carries a strong organic pre-fertilisation of 10.5 kg/m³ (NPK 5.5-11-5.5) that is released over time and feeds plants for about six weeks. Add worm castings for vigorous growth and water retention, a high perlite content for drainage, and a peat base, and you have a soil that does much of the feeding for you in the first part of the cycle. It is suitable for organic cultivation and part of Plagron's 100% NATURAL approach.
Planning a full tent
With four plants in 11 L pots in a 120 × 120 cm tent, one bag is about right. Because Royalmix is too strong for very young plants (EC 1.3–2.0 mS/cm, pH 6.0–7.2), start seedlings in a lighter mix or let them grow on for 1 to 2 weeks first. Alternatively, flush each pot before planting, using 5 to 10 L of water per 10 L pot, before the plants go in.
Feeding schedule
Organic nutrients need roughly two weeks before they become available. Begin with Plagron Alga Grow and Alga Bloom from around week 4; extra nutrition is usually needed after about six weeks. On this soil with the Alga line, you can skip pH and EC adjustment.
