Plagron Silic Rock 250 ml – organic silicon for sturdier stems in soil and coco
Branches bending under their own weight late in flower, or plants that sulk at the first heatwave? The 250 ml bottle of Plagron Silic Rock is a practical size for one or two cycles in a home grow. It's a silicon fertiliser of organic origin with readily absorbable silicon that strengthens cell walls, for sturdier stems and leaves.
Why growers use it
Silicon does more than stiffen tissue. Silic Rock supports the uptake of phosphorus, calcium and micronutrients, and its silicon/potassium ratio helps plants cope better with stress throughout the whole grow. You use it from the first watering to the last.
How far 250 ml goes
At a maximum of 1 ml per litre (1:1,000), this bottle treats up to 250 litres of water. A small tent drinking around 15 litres a week uses about 15 ml weekly, so the bottle lasts roughly four months.
Dosing in a watering can
Shake well. Always add Silic Rock first to the water and let it dissolve completely before adding anything else; mixing it into a solution that already contains nutrients can cause it to react. For a 5 L can, 5 ml is the maximum: a small syringe keeps it exact. Use it with every watering.
