Plagron Silic Rock 500 ml – silicon fertiliser for stronger cell walls through the whole grow
If silicon is a fixed part of your feeding routine, in two tents or with big plants, the 500 ml bottle is the logical step up. Plagron Silic Rock is a silicon fertiliser of organic origin with 1.0% readily absorbable SiO₂. It strengthens cell walls for sturdier stems and leaves and supports the uptake of phosphorus, calcium and micronutrients.
In practice
The silicon/potassium ratio helps plants stay steady under stress, from early growth through to harvest. That's useful in bloom, when branches have to carry weight, and in warm grow rooms where plants work hard. It runs alongside your normal feed in soil and coco.
Half a litre, 500 litres
At a maximum of 1 ml per litre, this bottle covers 500 litres of nutrient water. With a 50 L reservoir, that's 50 ml per fill and ten full tanks.
Mixing order in a reservoir
Fill the tank with water, add Silic Rock first and let it dissolve completely, ideally with a circulation pump or a good stir. Only then add your base nutrients and other products. This order matters with silicon products, because adding them to a solution that already contains nutrients can make them react. Use it at every watering throughout the grow and shake the bottle before each use.
