Plagron Supermix 1 L – organic powder fertiliser to revive used potting soil
Got a few pots of last run's soil you would rather reuse than throw out? The 1 L pack of Plagron Supermix is made for exactly that small job. It is an organic powder fertiliser that you mix into the soil, with minerals, trace elements, worm castings and seabird guano for a balanced nutrient ratio and an active soil life.
How much soil 1 L treats
For potting soil, Plagron advises 25–50 L of Supermix per 1,000 L of soil. One litre therefore upgrades roughly 20 to 40 L of soil, which is two or three 11 L pots. Outdoors, the rate is 1 L per 10–20 m².
Why growers use it
With NPK 1-2-0, Supermix gives used soil a new lease of life and supports strong, vital plants. Worm castings and seabird guano feed the micro-organisms that make nutrients available. It is suitable for organic cultivation.
In practice
Break up the old soil, remove the root balls, then mix Supermix evenly through it before planting and water well. It is meant for peat-based substrates only, not for coco. Plagron's pre-fertilised Allmix, Royalmix and Batmix need no extra for the first grow; use Supermix to recharge them for the next one.
