Quickplug Coco Propagation Plugs – 104 Tray (unsealed): size, design and use
The Quickplug Coco propagation plugs in a 104 tray offer a clean, organic and professional solution for plant propagation. Thanks to their stabilised structure and ideal moisture balance, they promote strong, healthy root growth – ideal for seeds and clones of all kinds.
This version is supplied unsealed, without a plastic sealing foil over the tray.
Guaranteed rewetting
The hydrophilic coco plugs can dry out and then be rewetted quickly and evenly. This unique rewetting system supports root development and delivers consistent results – especially in intensive propagation or automated systems.
RHP-certified substrate for top quality
Quickplug uses only RHP Coir Fine Optima (90%) and RHP Baltic Peat (10%). Both substrates meet the strict Dutch RHP quality standards and guarantee purity, stability and consistent physical properties for professional horticulture.
Faster growth thanks to optimal air capacity
With a high air capacity of 14% and a pore structure of 85–95%, Quickplug Coco plugs provide ideal conditions for oxygen exchange and root aeration. The result: faster rooting, healthy plants and even growth.
Perfect handling and suitable for automation
The round shape and stabilised structure make Quickplug Coco propagation plugs especially easy to use. The pre-formed planting holes are ideal for seeds or clones and support both manual and automated propagation.
Use and irrigation
Irrigation: Simply moisten with water and let the excess drain away. The plug regulates the optimal moisture level by itself.
Seeds: Place the seed about 3 mm deep in the central hole.
Clones: Insert the stem fully into the pre-formed hole so there is firm contact between the clone and the substrate.
