Supreme CalMag 10 L – bulk Ca-Mg for grow rooms on RO water
For a grow room that runs every tank on RO water, Supreme CalMag in 10 L is the economical choice: the price per litre is far lower than the 5 L, and at these low doses the container goes a very long way.
Numbers for a larger room
At 0.1–0.5 ml per litre to reach EC 0.4 mS/cm, 10 L is enough for 20,000 to 100,000 L of water. A 500 L tank of RO water at 0.4 ml/L needs 200 ml, so the container covers about fifty fills even at the higher end of normal use.
Setting it up
Many growers put CalMag on the first channel of a dosing system, because it has to raise the base water before anything else goes in. Calibrate once: dose into your RO tank until the EC reads 0.4, note the ratio, and set the pump to that. If your plants need extra calcium or magnesium, raise the dose to 0.5–1 ml/L for a while.
Safety and storage
CalMag causes serious eye damage (H318). Wear eye and skin protection, especially when you decant from a large container; a drum pump or tap reduces splashing. Keep it closed between uses.
